Full-stack developer building applications with Node.js and React on AWS infrastructure. I work on already-deployed architectures to make them scale: modular services that switch on and off as needed, without touching the rest of the system.

I write software and I understand the machine it ends up running on. They are two different trades and I work in both.
I work with cloud infrastructure on AWS, both for product development and for AI-related projects, building scalable, production-oriented architectures. I came from cross-platform development, which is where I learned that what works in one place does not necessarily work in the next.
My complementary training in computer systems and networks helps me understand the environment applications run in, and work better with other technical profiles. Curious by habit: I am driven by learning, and by projects I do not yet fully know how to solve.

Outside work I run my own infrastructure: an ARM machine where I learn by breaking things and fixing them.
01 · Self-hosting
I run an ARM instance on Oracle Cloud over Ubuntu: systemd, memory limits, iptables and certificates. Everything a PaaS hides from you, here you configure yourself.
02 · In production
Astro compiled to static HTML, with no framework JavaScript. It runs on that same server behind Nginx, with a certificate that renews itself and atomic symlink deploys: publishing a new version is one command and fifteen seconds.
